How do testers install the APK on their device?
When invited to a project or sent a download link, testers open the link in their Android browser (Chrome, Samsung Internet, etc.) and tap download. If prompted with Android's security notice for outside sources, they toggle "Allow from this source" in system settings.
What file formats and sizes are supported?
APKFlight supports compiled Android `.apk` package files up to 100MB each. Support for Android App Bundles (.aab) is on our product roadmap.
How long are builds retained?
Builds remain stored and accessible in your project history according to your plan limits (5 builds per project on Free, 20 on Basic). You can delete outdated builds at any time from your dashboard.
Is APKFlight endorsed by or affiliated with Google Play?
No. APKFlight is an independent platform for private development-stage builds. We do not claim Google Play affiliation, and our distribution is meant for internal testing and client verification prior to production release.
